I've tried them and nothing is seeming to work and they are super easy I'm just going blank.

1)The given equation is either linear or equivalent to a linear equation. Solve the equation.
1/2y-2=1/3y

2)Find all real solutions of the quadratic equation.
So it's the square root of 6x^2+2x-square root of 3/2=0

1) First multiply both sides by the denominators. Can you post what you get?

I'm asking you to do this because without brackets, there are be more than one interpretation of what you posted.

2) For that equation to have real roots, first find the range of values of x for which you get b^2 - 4ac \geq 0
