Seven men, Anthony, Bob, Chris, Dan, Ed, Frank, and Greeg, have a day off every week, no two of them on the same day.
Anthony's day off is the day after Chris's
Dan's day off is three days after the day before Ed's
Bob's day off is three days before Greg's
Franks day off is half way between Bob's and Chris's and is on Thursday.
Which day off does each have?

This should be under Homework Help, which we help with but don't answer all of.
Take a piece of paper and draw a big 7 x 7 square.
Put days of the week on the top and names down the side.
Start filling in the limits of each person.
What do you get?

Nice problem! I assume you've given this problem as a brainteaser for the rest of us, not because it's for homework.

Anyway, the fact that the days of the week are recurring makes this especially challenging. In normal logic problems like this, you could take a statement like "Anthony's day off is the day after Chris's" and deduce that Anthony can't be the first day of the week, and Chris can't be the last. However, in this case you can't make that assumption.

I have to admit, it took me a little while to get the answer. Thanks for posting!
