My cousin has a fairly extensive coin and paper money collection. It has been something that has fascinated him since he was a child. Recently, he was going through his collection and showing them to his son, and it occurred to him that he didn't know the value of any of it. He, and I, would like to know if Confederate money has any value outside of the historical importance and sentimental value to the owner? One of the items in question is a $20 note, printed in Richmond, VA. The year on the bill is 1864 and it's in "Good" condition. The top right-hand corner is a little jagged and there is a stain on the back. He is not looking to sell any of his collection, but he is definitely fact hunting. A lot of the sites on the internet are misleading, or take you straight to eBay! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
