Do you believe that God has a partner out there for every one and if so how do you know that person or do I just find a person I like and build a relationship with them and if so where do I start.

It takes time and patience to build a relationship. Some people who end up in long term marriages started as friends first.

First I would like to say is never ever rush or push something that might or might not be there.

I do believe that God has a partner for all of us. It is up to us to have enough faith in God to let us know when the timing is right and with whom that might be as well.

Also some relationships are meant to be long term and some are not. We have a circle of spirits (here) that we are meant to know for a life time and others just for a little while.

All depends...

I think that when you look for a relationship, there is no telling where you end up.

I think you have a better chance at happiness, if you build a life that you enjoy, with family, friends and activities that make you happy, and have fun with your own life, and let the relationship find you.

It takes two happy healthy people to make a happy healthy relationship that can grow naturally. A healthy happy adult will not compromise that happiness for a relationship, but will share that happiness, with another happy healthy adult.

Till that time, take your time, and enjoy being single, and explore all your options to be happy until the right opportunity for mutual commitment comes along, and it will.
