The wife turned on the toaster this morning and the thing quit and the receptacle was melted a bit,the breaker never tripped, fridges outlet does not work along with two in the living room. I replaced the melted receptacle. Still nothing on all four outlets the NEUTRAL reads 120 volts with ground HOT reads the same 120 with ground but HOT and NEUTRAL read 0 I used a analyzer and it reads HOT/GRD reverse on all four outlets. What's going on house is 10yrs old
I called a pro but he can't make it till next weekend
Thanks

I think the neutral wire is broken someplace. Is this circuit a shared neutral for two circuits?
If you open akl these kitchen outlets, you may find one with a red and black, this is the feed from the panel, and the neutral white splice can be broken or loose here
Or can just be a broken neutral for a two wire circuit. Do the outlets connect with the wires pushed into small holes on the back of the devices. These connections are popular cause of loose or open connections.

All four outlets are on the same 20amp breaker tried changing the wire in the broken box to see if the problem moved to other outlets but it didn't. I don't know about the shared neutral or two circuits.
