How do you get rid of whiteheads on your face? Also, is there a permanent solution?

An issue that I am currently experiencing is white heads all over my face. I used to just get them on my forehead, but now, they are everywhere! They're very small and clear so they're not that visible unless you're very close to my face. But, since they're bumps, make-up doesn't really cover them. I have a lot of whiteheads around my chin now. A doctor once told me that your chin in the most hormonal part of your face. I guess that's why mine is so problematic.

The last time that I got a facial, the esthetician informed me that the way to remove whiteheads is with a needle or something like that. This sounded very complicated and the procedure was expensive. Not to mention that she had also said that even after removing the whiteheads, they will most likely return. I don't want to spend $100 on a temporary fix.

Is there a more "home remedy"-like procedure that I can do myself?

Help!

Have you tried using a loofa when you wash your face? This is a natural vegetable-material pad that has been used for ages to help exfoliate your skin - either all over or just on your face. You can buy them either online or at the drug store or health food store for a few dollars. And while you are at it after using the loofa you can use colloidal silver water (you can buy at health food store) and that will kill off the residual bacteria still inside your pores which is the actual cause of black/white heads.
