The RanSu studio was in Elmhurst, NY. Defunct now, it was active around 1950 - 60. We lived nearby, and my folks bought one which we still have - African mask motif [ photo below ]. There is no 'established' market for these - rather unknown - no one buying them or collecting them. The art was 'spotty' - some pieces being much nicer than others. I think they 'cranked them out' - each piece kind of unique, but they did not seem to find their stride totally - and make many of the better pieces. Artists do this: experiment even when they've found a good niche.
We've bought two over the years at yard sales - not perfect condition - for under $10. Love to acquire more. Can't put email address in the forums here.
