My Corian sink cracked from corner to drain. It is leaking. Can it be repaired or should I think of replacing it? It's out of warranty.

I used to work with Corian. Generally, a crack like you're describing calls for replacement. Smaller cracks and chips can be repaired but a large crack like that will probably not hold up too well. You really would be better off calling someone to come in and look at it and they could tell you for sure since I can't actually see it though.

What caused the crack? Was something dropped in it? Could you send us a picture? Back to you, Tom

I don't think a photo would show the crack, but it is slightly visible. My wife heard it crack after she steaming hot water.

Craballey,

You could try this: Simple Permanent Crack Repair - art specialties international, inc. (http://sites.google.com/site/coriartinc/Home/price-list/simple-permanent-crack-repair)

You can always replace the sink if it does not work.
