I bought this Prelude with 177K miles on it. We replaced the head gasket and set the timing and the ignition timing according to the Prelude manual. It cranks over very well but won't start. We have spark at the plug end of the wires, gas is getting to the plugs. It just doesn't want to ignite. We thought maybe the ignition timing was to blame meaning that piston 1 was not TDC with distributer and camshaft aligned. We corrected this and still it doesn't start. Is this an ICM problem or is there something else I should look at? The gas is not premium and it is old. How old I don't know. It was in the car when I bought it and the car had sat for a considerable amount of time. Could this be a gas issue?
