To start with... you probibly should already know this. You would have been convicted in court of a felony. You could not pick up a felony on your record without an actual conviction of a felony in court, there would likely have been jail time, and at least probation. If you have... then its on your record. If you've never been to court over ANY crime, plea or no plea, then you have none its safe to assume.

Otherwise I assume you have at least one conviction and you aren't certain if any of those were actually felonies or misdemeanors. Have you tried going to your local police station and having them check for you? Know however that's risky if there is any chance you might have any warrants out for you.

No, it will always be there, it does not get expunged. But certain background checks may only go back so far. You are better to mention it... than say there was none and have them find out later. It would be considered grounds for termination if you lied on the application and they discovered it down the road.
