How old are you guys? How long have you been together? If he likes you and trusts you, then he will hear your version of the story before believing anyone else. Have you spoken to each other about it yet?

It's all about trust. That's all you can do. Lose that "friend" or tell them how it hurt you and don't sweat it. If he believes your friends over you, then he wasn't worth your time.
