I have always had normal periods, typical 28 day cycle and then had to stop taking my because (ortho tricycline lo) due to insurance reasons. I was only off it for a few months and finally went back to planned parenthood for my yearly, to get tested and to get back on it. My pap n STD screen came back normal but they said I had bv and an inflamed cervix that they did give me meds for which I finished and they gave me my ortho tricycline lo again and told me that even though I was in the middle of my cycle I could start taking my pill right away and take packs back to back with skipping the green "sugar" pills. Well I did that and half way through my first pack I started getting some light brown discharge n then finally got my period like a week before my blue pills ended so I did what they said n just skipped the first set of green "sugar" pills n went straight to the second pack. Well my period ended n the discharged stopped but then a couple weeks later the brown discharge came back and I've had it for like a week n a half now and stopped taking my pills hoping I'd get my period and no period yet. But I have no other symptoms and am not pregnant. Can the pill and taking it how I did cause something like this? Or could my bv be back?
