Hello there I was just wondering what I should do, I got a payday loan a few months back and was not able to pay it back at that time and still have not paid it but have taken out other payday loans since then. I have gotten a call from a mr muntez from Paul Kuperstein and associates about the loan saying that I could get a lawyer or represent myself or request a right of settlement. If I don't take the right of settlement then they will take me to court and there would be possible fraud charges and will have to pay lawyer fees and court cost making the total that I owe 2700. If I take the right of settlement I can go into the place where I got the loan and pay at least half now and then write a letter requesting that I need a extension. The total I owe is 833.75 and I don't really have half of that money by Friday. Mr Muntez said to call him back tomorrow so that way he could extend it till Friday but if I asked for the right of settlement today that he couldn't hold it till Friday. After reading a lot of post about these people I am really confused, they said I could go to where I got the loan so boggles my mind after reading everything else. I did how ever call the payday loan place and was transferred twice and the last person I spoke to actually gave me number of the people that were actually calling me. They said that I have to deal with them. I won't have the money by Friday so I don't know what to do. I want to pay it off but need more time.

They were hoping you could come up with the money NOW, not later. If you can't pay them they will end up taking you to court though. There is no real way out here for you to gain more time. You seem to be getting the run around with them. It's just another debt collector getting creative. If you want to pay them fine, if you want to wait until Court time be ready to have to pay the court fees, attorneys fees and the interest which can and will add up to a tidy sum. Have they sent anything to you on paper or has it all been via phone?
