I remember seeing a movie in the 80's. This movie is set in the future, and it shows a man with a young woman trying to drive across the country in a fast car. There doesn't seem to be anymore cars, and he has trouble getting gas. I believe he was trying to make it to California from across the country, and someone was trying to stop him. I'm not sure if it was the government or not. Any help?
