So I totally thought the following was from the Butterfly Effect but I just saw it finally and I was wrong. What is this scene from?

At the end, two men stand near a bridge I believe, and one dumps a lot of pictures, journals, etc. Into a metal drum. The other guy asks "are you sure about this" and he says something like "I don't need this stuff to remember who I am" and then burns it all
