I have a john deere 214 that was run with very little to no oil. My daughter was mowing and it stalled after a few passes. It will turn but not fire up the fly wheel turns freely when you try and start it. New plug, checked filters.

Stalled or seized, you said both.

Check your compression.
The good thing about the Kohler motor they're easy to rebuild .
