My mother (87 yrs.) just purchased a home with a American Standard thermostat (Acont401an21maa). She can't read the display, can't even tell if in A/c mode or heat. I have been looking at Honeywell's FocusPro 5000. It has a large display and its non-programmable. Would this be a good replacement for her present thermostat. The wiring on the American Standard is as follows: Red=R, Black=W2, White=W, Yellow=Y, Green=G, Orange=O, Blue=B. Or would there be a better replacement you would recommend? Thanks

All should work good. The B on the old thermostat will be the common on the new thermostat. The rest will be the same. TURN POWER OFF FIRST going to the fan coil when replacing the thermostat or you may blow the transformer. Good luck.
