The original proverb is a Sanskrit proverb, but I can only find it in English. The proverb is "Sorrow for the death of a father lasts six months; sorrow for a mother, a year; sorrow for a wife, until another wife; sorrow for a son, forever." I was wondering if anyone could translate it back into Sanskrit for me?
