Where a = 2, b = 3 evaluate

Where are you getting stuck? Break it up into smaller parts: What's 2a^6b? How about a^4b? Post back with your answers and one of us will be able to verify you got it right or guide you in the right direction if you got it wrong.

silverti: your use of parentheses is a bit confusing. What you wrote is this:


(2a^6b)^3(3a^4b)


But I wonder if what you meant is this:


(2a^{6b})^3(3a^{4b})


Please verify which is correct.

I'm guessing it's written correctly since the alternative interpretation is a 42-digit number. :)
