My ex husband is trying to get unsupervised visition after he was charged with sexual assault on a minor. I am uncomfortable with him doing this but the judge keeps giving him chances including the chance to go to a therapist not recommended by family services. I'm not sure if he gave all the details for the therapist to determine the correct status of his situation. How can I ask the judge to deny this.

Is there a motion currently ongoing in the court system? Was this a recent charge and was he convicted of the crime?
If he has been doing what the courts say and has full compliance then the judge may see that as a sign of good faith. Mostly it depends on what charges he has against him and the possible recommendations of the therapist.
If the judge rules in his favor you only have the choice to appeal it if there was a defect in the proceedings.

We've been going through this process for 2.5 yrs. I was not given the therapists letter stating the findings of his sessions. This is a new therapist, the old one would not release him.
