Hi, I am currently pregnant and have been told by my doctor that I am due on Nov. 24 according to my LMP of Feb 17. However I know for a fact that I conceived on Feb 16th 2011. So would my EDD still be Nov. 23 or would it then be Nov. 9th?

I'm not sure I understand how your EDD would change that much from the 23rd to the 9th?

You see, EDD is only an estimation. We do not know exactly when the sperm met the egg as it can take days for the sperm to reach the egg after intercourse occurs.

I have your EDD as Nov 23 as well. Should you deliver on the 9th, your baby will still be full term and there should be no worries.

So my boyfriend moved to Wyoming for school last year, when he came back we waited to have sex for a few months. We ended up having intercourse on Feb 16, 2011 and I started my period only hours later. We then decided to wait till we got our own apartment to continue our sexual relationship. We moved in together on March 5, 2011. Needless to say I am now pregnant and my Doctor is placing my due date on Nov. 23, saying I conceived on or around March 2, 2011. However I believe my conception date is Feb. 16th or 17th. Which would put my due date around Nov 9th. So which date is more accurate?

Due date and conception is best guess, so could be either.
Whatever happens you need to listen to you doctor.

I've only seen my doctor 3 times during my whole pregnancy and she won't answer my questions. Just does a routine exam and leaves. I am having reg doc check ups but it's her nurse I see, not her.
