Last night airhandler was blowing but it seemed hot inside. So I went outside to see if condenser was on and it wasn't. This morning I went into attic to clean system due to float switch in pan. Cleaned lines and drained pan. Turned all power back on from circuit breakers etc. Turned thermostat on to cool house and nothing came on. I went back into attic to find that airhandler was not blowing and outside unit still not on. I opened the side panel on airhandler and noticed that the breakers on the unit itself were set to the off position. I did not tamper with these breakers. As I was working with a water issue, Is it possible that the unit was short-circuited from the excessive water in the pan. There were wires in the water connected to the float switch. I flipped the breakers to on and all I hear is a humming sound as though it would like to come on but the blower does not move. Are there any ideas to resolve my situation?
