When I was about 8-10 years old we all went to the movies, I fell asleep during part of the movie because we had gone to the late show and I was young, but what I remember of the movie it was about drunken pirates, mid evil period, dark gloomy castles etc. I really want to know but my brother can't remember nor can my mom. It's not willow, time bandits, or robin hood just to clarify. It was for sure early 80's I'd say before 1987. I'll know it if I hear it or watch a preview.

I'll check Krull but I don't think that's it. I remember it being a dark gloomy movie with castles, knights, drunk pirates?? Ugh it's frustrating trying to figure this out
