Installed new fan and now have a slight delay with the light. Everything on Google says it's a new federal regulation, but why isn't that in any of the support docs of the fan manufacturers? It doesn't make sense to me. Any thoughts?

Can you provide a link to that Google article? How much of a delay are we talking, like the flicker of an inexpensice CFL or a fluorescent bulb?

That sounds silly enough to be true. I'd believe just about anything published regarding new "Federal Regulations".
