I'm doing my master degree, and I want to make an appointment with professor to ask him to be my advisor and I have an idea that I want to know is't good or not?
So what should I write to him in the email?

Hi Mame,

You are probably not going to include a dissertation in your e-mail so it is generally not possible to tell if your thesis is a good or bad idea based on a few lines or paragraphs.

The only way you can really tell if your thesis has merit is to make an appointment to discuss your ideas with him/her. Make sure you have a plan in place in order to initiate a discussion when you have an appointment.

I am not saying I am correct. That is what I would do if a where in a similar situation.

Proper comunication I'm sure certainly will do.

BYW,there is one question:
Why English TEM8 & CATTI are considered funny and rubbish tests by native speakers? My opinion is that it's 'cause the test questions are created by Chinese pesons with some language problems and they seem to be tools to correct money.
