When I type a search string in the search box, a little drop down pops up showing 10 strings with other words following what I typed - along with a number of results.

See the example below.

Is it some indicator of the number of searches for those particular words over some period, or what? I've scrounged the Help section but am finding nothing.

Does anyone know what it is? Better yet, can someone point me to Google's explanation of exactly what it is and how it is compiled?

Thanks!

It's the new "Enhanced Search Box"
Google Toolbar for Firefox Help Center (http://www.google.com/support/firefox/bin/static.py?page=features.html&v=2.0f)

Aah, I was looking at the general info... not under Firefox. Thanks!

But now I'm even more confused after reading their very vague explanation of it.
