Cold water is flowing through the hose but will not go into the wash machine itself. Checked hose it is not pluged. Hot water will get into wash machine.

Clogged cold water solenoid (there is a screeen on the inlet on most)... defective controler not sending power to the cold water solenoid, or a bad solenoid?

Clean the screens to the inlet on the valves by removing hoses and pulling out screens. This will cure the problem. DrTom4444

I have the same problem and cleaning the screens did not work for me... any other suggestions?

Check the solenoids with a meter and see if you read from 500 to 3000 ohms. If not, replace the water valve assembly. If they check out check the water level switch and see if blowing on tube makes and breaks the contacts inside. It's one or the other or the timer.
