Gentlemen,
I have a Bryant high efficiency furnace approx. 16 years old so it is not the type with outside air intake, just your standard simple furnace. My problem is the furnace will decide it doesn't want to turn on. The house cools down, then I go and turn off then back on the on/off switch that supplies electricity to the unit. Then it will work fine for awhile. I have a programmable thermostat that made sure the batteries are replaced, reprogrammed it so it doesn't cut back. I cleaned the furnace thoroughly, I do every year. Yet it still doesn't want to run as it should.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm trying to avoid a costly service call.
Thanks, J Rice
