I'm going to Aruba for my 25th next year, any ideas of what resort we should pick? I was thinking about AI is that a good idea. We are in our late forties, would like quiet, no kids - we just want to enjoy the island.

Any ideas would be helpful

Personally, I would go with the Marriot brand. (I am not a paid promoter, just enjoy their quality and attention to detail).

They have a resort that has Adult-only and a separate family area.

The lowest rates are in the $180's, then you can move up with more and more amenities and better rooms. Here is some information and a link to the resort's website.

$187 a night for a basic room per night up to...
$510 a night for their best suite with not extra amenities

Their couples packages:

$357 for daily breakfast buffet, daily dinner and a bottle of champagne for the length of visit

To the all-inclusive packages:

$438 for buffet breakfast, lunch, a dinner with soft drinks, 15% spa discount, some casino chips in a regular guest room all the way up to their top suites in this package which cost $561 per day.

I have been going to Aruba yearly for the last 15 years, would highly recommend the tamarijn all inclusive. You will also get full access to the Divi all inclusive just next door, nightly entertainment, beautiful beach and food. No need for a wallet/purse. It is just outside of downtown, a flat walk if your fit.
