We would be watching TV down stairs and hear footsteps up stairs . We are wondering if that just cause the house is settleing or there is something moving around up there?

Is there any problem with you going to check to see where the noise is coming from? Ir doesn't mean it is paranormal activity.

It could be many things, water pipes ? Settling, someone sneaking around inyour home ?

Have you investigated ?

I'm going to assume you know the difference between footsteps and a house settling, right? Is this the only event or are there others that make you think this is paranormal?
