My 10 month old son has vomited 3-4 times in the last few hours, last time was about 1 hour ago, temp 99.5, attitude still pretty good, although it is bedtime so a little cranky. Just cut his first 2 teeth. Is this usually anything serious, or would pedialyte and reassess in the morning be OK.

Pedialyte and reassess is okay for now. 99.5 isn't really that high for a temp. I recommend all of my pediatric parents to call the doctor if the temp reaches 100.4 or above.

Check his diapers to make sure he is still putting out urine so that he is not getting dehydrated.

Do NOT, under any circumstances, give him Pepto Bismol!
