Bascially this boy and his dad go and stay with this family at a cottage. This boy see's himself as a soldier as refuses to change out of his clothes into his pjamas when the lady who I ashume owend the cottage asks him to when he is in the bathroom. I ashume she is them other of the other children but I odnt know for sure. The boys mum died at chirstmas. The boy goes running off and someone see's him through a telescope. He goes into these caves I think and falls into a hole. His dad then has to dig him out. Eventually him and his dad leave and the lady at the cottage say it was fine having him so he eventually gorws up and stops being naughty. He shares a room with the other children but wears his army gear to bed. He storms out of the bathroom when he is asked ot change into this pjamas. Wen the lady comes into his bedroom in then ight he's is sitting on his bead saying that he wants his mum.
