Is it possible that tectonics had help from the surface of the Earth shrinking,as a result of the core cooling?

Is it possible (circa. 5000 yrs ago) that the radius of earth was far greater than is today?

There is no evidence that the radius of the earth has changed in any significant way, and certainly not within recent geological history.
