I want to visit my uncle's church for one Sunday an my mom doesn't think it's a good idea. We are Baptist Christian and his church is Reformed Christian. I see no difference in the two really. I just want to go for one Sunday and see what it's like, but she doesn't want to. How do I persuade her to let me go?

Parents have to support you until you are 18, and this gives them certain rights about telling you what you can and cannot do. Either wait patiently until you are 18, or be patient about talking about it with them. Don't make a big deal about it; just say that you are interested in all Christian churches. You could express an interest in studying religion in college, and say that you will invite your uncle to your church first if they will also let you go to his.

Why not ask them to take you there? That way they can be there to "protect" you in case there's anything they spot that they disagree with.

There were dozens of churches calling theirself "reformed christian" so I am not sure which one you are talking about.
This is one of the major ones Beliefs - Christian Reformed Church (http://www.crcna.org/pages/beliefs.cfm)
If this is it, what you do is ask uncle to come over and discuss it with your mom. Or ask your mom what part of that religion does she not believe in
Next of course there are dozens of types of Baptist, which do not fully agree on the same teachings, so I do not know which type you are. Independent, Full Gospel, Reformed, United, Southern, Freewill are just a few of the many types of Baptist

A reform christian church is a sign of a church that have grown up in the word of god. There are baby christians that never want to grow up. Only able to drink milk from the word of god, not strong enough to eat meat yet, which is the deeper thoughts of god which a baby christian can't understand.
