What is the difference between a classified balance sheet and a adjusted trial balance?

That is like asking what is the difference between a car and a boat.
They are both completely different tools.
A balance sheet outlines a company's position at a moment in time, their assets, liabilities, equity.
A trial balance just makes sure all of your accounts balances. That is, your debits = credits.
