I am a 39 year old father of 5 children that has filed for divorce. I have been out of the house since November 2010 and my wife has kept the children from speaking to me by way of not answering the phone and has not allowed me to have any time with them. I have showed up with the police just to get them to let me see them for 5 minutes but the children don't like when I do that so I stopped. I show up to my two youngests elementary school to eat lunch with them and to my oldests field days, soccer and track practices etc... just to be a ble to see them for a few minutes. I have tried setting dates and times with her through email and her lawyer and nothing has been done. Is this legal?

Contact your attorney and take her back to court so you can see your children on a regular basis. The cops can't do anything unless you have a signed Order in your hand. The judge will rule in your favor.

I know nothing about the legality so we'll have to wait for someone that knows something to come along... I just wanted to pipe in because this kind of stuff infuriates me.

Why do so many people feel they need to use kids as a weapon against their spouse? Do they not realize that divorce is hard enough for children to deal with already without being treated this way? People are idiots.
