I have a Samsung 22" TV that comes on for about a second then goes black. I followed some threads that led me to replace capacitors to no avail. In the thread it said that the caps would be bulged, but none of mine were. I gave it a shot anyway. The sound is working and I can faintly see the picture if I darken the room and shine a flashlight into it. This tells me that the backlight has failed. The model is ln22b360c5d. Can you help me fix it?

It's your inverter. If it was the backlight itself, you'd have to replace the panel.
The models from your year and after do not have capcitor problems, it was the LNXXAXXX models and the LNT models.
The inverter may be combined into the power supply and described as the IP board. Or you may not be able to get the inverter separate from the panel.
Honestly, it is probably too expensive to fix. You could check the transformers on the power supply and make sure the solder is good.

Well, you're probably better off buying a new one then. Because you never know what could go next if the IP board went bad.
