Hi,
I also own the same antique Singer sewing machine as shown in the first pic (classic style,3 hand carved drawers on either side, access draw @ top holds all original accessories. Leather pulley connecting foot pedal to operating (wheel) mechanism. Original owners manual, etc.
This machine has been in our families possession since it was purchased new as a wedding gift to my grandmother.
I also have tried to get it appraised without much luck, however, I did come across a very interesting suggestion. Singer is a German company and the machine I'm referring to was also manufactured in Germany. I have contacted the company and as yet have not been able to gather any information regarding this machine. It would help greatly if I knew someone that spoke German, but at this point I'm also open to suggestions...
