Can you get an STD/STI through urine? I was at a party and we shared this roll of toilet paper and I had to pee so I went behind a barn where the paper was and started to pee when I finished I noticed the roll was wet so I ripped off a piece that was dry and I double checked it and wiped I didn't think until afterwords about STDs and stuff and the girls that went before me were sluts and could have anything so I'm wondering what are the odds?
 please help.. I'm a germaphobe and I no that STD stands for SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED so I'm just asking and putting it out there

I seriously doubt you can get an STD through toilet paper. You get an STD through sexual contact. But human urine can be a harbinger of an STD. If you used the dry portion you should be okay. Also did you sit on the potty in the house if those girls are sluts they could have deposited something on the seat. That is one way herpes is spread in addition to sexual contact.

Wiping yourself with toilet paper that you believed to be urine soaked is pretty extreme to me. And yes, that is pretty proximity to a very susceptble part of a woman's anantomy.

If you are afraid you may have, go to an STD clinic and be tested, we can't tell you yes or no only that you could be depending on how well you knew the other women, who you say were sluts, so there you go. If they were all sluts and slept around, then god only know what type of STD they have.

If I personally were not sure about the TP, I would not have used it, and you can always 'give it shake' without wiping and having wet panties is almost preferrable to worrying about having an STD from urine soaked TP you have used.

OP stated that the TP was wet so she assumed it was wet from urine; I think she said she went to urinate beyond the barn, which was probably the designated pee spot for the night.

Behind the barn means there was not toilet, just a open place in public where they were using the bathroom.

** Nothing says a first class party to me like peeing being the barn.
Esp when that party is full of known sluts.
Bet they even went cow tipping latter.

But I doubt it could transmit it, but then there are other illness and issues that could be caused.

It is never a bad idea to have yourself checked on a regular basis by your doctor

Yes Tick I can read BUT I wanted to be sure that if there was a potty in the house(?) and did she use it as well? You never know about these rural parties as usually old farmhouses only have one pooper and someone may have been using it hence the behind the barn.

No I literally squatted behind a barn in a field where else am I going to party in a no stoplight county? I was told the TP was dropped by someone and I made sure it was dry it most def wasn't peed on because only one side was wet so I believed what I was told but I googled it and heard urine is sterile (but you can still test urine and find it?)hence the question

What's a "no stoplight county?"

And no, you don't test urine for STDs.

There is no stoplight anywhere in the county I live in for at least an hour anyway you go lol so then is urine sterile then?

Yes, urine is sterile unless of course you have a urinary tract infection.

Once urine leaves the body it is no longer sterile.

No stoplight means that they are worse than rural. They make rural look crowded. This would be basically in the middle of nowhere with homes probably spaced at least 2 miles apart on a two lane mom and pop road.

LOL how does it become unsterile? If it's the dirt and the bugs and the animals that doesn't worry me as much STDs

LOL how does it become unsterile?

Once urine leaves the body and touches something that is not sterile, the urine is no longer sterile. For instance, if you pee, and your urine touches the toilet seat, the urine that touched the toilet seat is not sterile.

If you are as ignorant as you seem to be about normal hygiene, STDS, and how sterile urine is and when, then you have a lot to worry about. How old you are, by the way?

I'm not ignorant, thank you as a stated before I squatted in dirt not a toilet. So if the only germs I have to worry about is dirt then I do NOT have anything to worry about. Why would you try[I] and help if you are just going to end up insulting the person that you are [I]trying to help? That was just rude. And What? NORMAL HYGIENE? You crossed the line.

I didn't state you were IGNORANT, read again what I put down. I stated your were ignorant about normal hygiene. This is the way you came across in your original post. Pretty rude of you to call other women 'sluts' I must say.

I think you probably got your answer here anyway. Crossed what line by the way ? I don't think there was any line to be crossed in this thread.
