Witch hazel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witch_hazel_(astringent)) hydrosol is used in skin care. It is a strong anti-oxidant and astringent, which makes it very useful in fighting acne.

Witch hazel naturally cleanses, tones and soothes the skin leaving it soft and healthy and perfectly balanced.
Witch Hazel is also used in herbal remedies as an astringent to relieve all kinds of other skin complaints

It's also used in cosmetics called... Witch anti-blemish cosmetics.

You can also buy the ointment version.. very good for cold sores.

In the main it was widely used as a skin toner after cream cleansing your face,it was said to have tightened the pores giving you a finer texture to your skin.

Widely available in most department stores, chemists, those shops that sell everything, superdrug, almost anywhere in fact or even on line.
