I have 2400 watts with 4 outlets .each has 600watts added to it
On a 15amp adapter will that run all the watts without the wires runnig hot?

What device is rated at 3500 watts? please explain more. Is it 120V or 240V? Single 15 or a double 15 AMP breaker?

A 15 amp 240 volt circuit can handle 3600 watts, less any applicable derating.
If this is located in the USA, and if this is for a heater, or some other continuous load that will run 3 hours or more, a 3500 watt 240 volt load will need a 20 amp circuit with #12 wire.

trza. You indicate it is "240 on a SINGLE 15 amp"... Can't be a single. Maybe a double breaker, 2 singles connected together? 240 requires 2 power feeds. What wires do you see in the wall box?

Some 2 pole breakers only have one small handle, such as a Square D QO breaker.

I wanted them to clarify since I have seen people put 2 wires on a single breaker and expect 240VAC
