Hi I don't have much money so I'm unable to go to the doctors for silly reasons, I wad hopeing someone here could help.
Growing up I first got my period around 11 or 12 I had it for few years then it stopped completely. My doctor said this was normal and put me on birthcontrol, while on it I would get my period regular, it would be light only lasting three days or so.
After being on BC for few years I have now stopped. Not getting my period for two years or so I didn't really think about it but about a month and a half to two months ago I got it really bad just out of the blue.I'm training to be a marine I was working out very hard for two weeks and lost about 12 pounds in 2 weeks but I realized I was getting cramps and bad feelings where my ovaries are.
Now I have my period close to two months after my prier one and it hurts really bad, sometimes when I move I get horrible sharp pains and I go through a regular tampon within three hours about.. is this okay? Or should I call my doctor?

I don't think this is a silly reason to see a doctor, and the Marines aren't paying health care for you yet?

Without a thorough history and exam, and possibly even a hormone level, it's not really possible to guess online. BC pills are hormones, and do tend to even ours out when they are low, uneven, or fluctuate more than usual. Cramps are common with heavy flow, and pelvic tilts help a lot, along with warmth applied to your abdomen. Maybe your age or maybe the exercise jolted something in you to get your periods going for real, and they will even out and slow down as they do in many of us as we age.

The marine corp won't even let you in without a through physical exam. If you can't afford to see a doctor, either find a free clinic, or bring up your issues at your entrance physical.
