I acquired a 1970's era wall double oven and I need to locate the model number and get a user's guide... any suggestions?

That is, by now, a pretty old oven. I guess you bought a pig in a poke, but if you haven't installed it yet, surely you can find a serial number somewhere; does the owner of the oven, or whoever you bought it from have any information. Why did you buy it without finding out more?

Did not need a "pig in a poke" reply and what difference does it make how I acquired it (did not buy) and why no information before I got it (maybe the people who removed the originally installed oven to renovate the kitchen was not the original owners of the house and therefore did not know anything about the oven other than it works). Thanks for YOUR QUESTIONS!

Many info plates are small ones pop riveted in the door frame or under the oven doordoor. Should be an external plate or you would have to remove oven to find parts info.
