Hi all, I've been looking for the name of this anime movie for a well over 20 years now, with no luck.
Recent searches on the internet have led me to find only two other people who are also searching for this movie, but nothing about the anime itself.

Here's what I remember about it:
The main character is a girl (I may be wrong though) who is fighting against three or four elemental type dragons (chinese style).
She has a weapon which is like a gold chakram/large ring which is sharp.
One of the dragons, the wind dragon I believe, uses a wind attack against the girl and blows her weapon into her throat, killing her.
The only other thing I remember is that after dying, she is reborn from a flower and eventually wins the battle.
Any ideas? Any help will be hugely appreciated! :)
