So I'm a 15 year old girl. For a while I've been trying to tell my parents that I'm Bi sexual but every time I bring up they say its "un normal" "ppl like that are going to hell". I always thought I could straighten out but now think I like women more. I need help figureing out what I like and how to tell my parents. I don't want to be considered a disgrace by my parents or family. Its eatting me alive :( I need help...

At 15 to be honest you should not be having any type of sex and may of course have desires one way more than another.

I guess the issue is that you also would not say that hey mom I am straight and want to have sex with boys either,

I also tend to think you are too young to label your orientation. You may or may not keep this orientation as you mature.

If you feel it is important enough to you that you have to tell your parents about your feelings, be prepared for them to react.. and maybe over-react... You have no control over what your parents think.

Your parents will have to decide for themselves if they are going to accept you for who you are. You will not be the first, or last, child that has parents that have difficulty accepting who their children become.

Unfortunately, at your age, you risk a lot by coming out. While you're a minor (at least in the US), you're parents have the power, and right, to enroll in you counseling and/or ex-gay programs. You also risk them making your life miserable while you live with them.

Think VERY carefully before coming out to them. They have already shown you that they will not be understanding or accepting, if you ever do convince them you're telling the truth.

I'm sorry you have to deal with a situation like that. The sad truth is, sometimes it's just not safe to be out. You may be better off waiting until you turn 18 and can move out on your own.
