My refrigerator is a Maytag model mzd2768geb. It has two temperature controlled drawers. Temperature on these area out of control,i.e. temperature is not maintained as specified at the user manual.

Do you have independent thermometers inside the drawers so take a proper reading?

Did you check to see if the coils under the unit were dirty? This is the most common cause because the unit will not bring down the temp enough to keep anything at the right temp when the coils are dirty. Remove the front kick plate and the rear cover (after unplugging unit) and wash out the coils with a spray of water. Clean everything and keep water out of fan motor, but clean the fan blades. Use a good spray cleaner to dissolve grease after washing off one time. Clean out drain pan by sliding it out from front if it comes out like most pans. Then when clean replace rear cover because on many units it is required to route air through the coils. Make sure your inside freezer coils are clear of ice and air can flow. DrTom4444
