Replaced the emitter and receiver board , did not help

Did you check to see if the coils under the unit were dirty? This is the most common cause because the unit will not bring down the temp enough to cause the ice maker to harvest when the coils are dirty. Remove the front kick plate and the rear cover (after unplugging unit) and wash out the coils with a spray of water. Clean everything and keep water out of fan motor, but clean the fan blades. Use a good spray cleaner to dissolve grease after washing off one time. Clean out drain pan by sliding it out from front if it comes out like most pans. Then when clean replace rear cover because on many units it is required to route air through the coils. Make sure your inside freezer coils are clear of ice and air can flow. DrTom4444
