24hrs later and I'm still alive I overdosed on atenolol, 100mgs all 10 of them an I need to know the side affects to come...

Please clarify: Did you take #10 100mg tablets (This would equal 1000mg of the drug)? Being as this is a lot higher than anything I am seeing in the drug guide as a ceiling dose I would get to an ER immediately. Any suspected overdose with this medication I would contact the prescribing physician. Many medications while they may not be fatal initially can have very serious side effects on other organs and body systems.

What happened that you took so many tablets?
