Last week I was taking a round wooden stick off my sliding back door and I used my foot to lift it out. Later that evening I noticed it was a little swollen, when I got up the next morning the swelling got a little worse and I had a knott I also had some pain on the bottom of my foot right about the bottom of my arch and it hurt to put any pressure on my foot. I iced it and took some ibuprofin, the pain on the bottom of my foot has pretty much subsided but the swelling and knott is still there, I'm starting to get a little worried.

The knot might be a ganglion, of which there are several kinds depending on what they are formed from (fluid, etc.), and the pain can be a number of things including plantar fasciitis and tarsal tunnel (similar to carpal tunnel of the wrist). You used your foot in a way it wasn't used to and a nerve got pinched and so on - probably. But these are just the two most common foot pains associated with what you describe, not in any way a diagnosis. You might want to make an appointment with a podiatrist and meanwhile see if you can reduce it with massage and rest.
