I just received a parenting plan from my ex. We have 2 children together - 1 yo daughter & 2 yo son. I have them Tuesday-Saturday full time & their father has them from Sunday at noon until Monday until 5-6 pm. He also owns a cash business which I partially owned with him and I used to oversee the financial aspect of the business and I know he earns more then he is trying to claim for his income. By doing so he's only expected to pay $50/mo but agreed to pay $75/bi-weekly. Though he spends almost no time with my children how does he expect me to agree to joint custody? Which, after researching I found decreases the amount you would pay in child support (unsure if this is correct or not if someone could please clarify). How is it right that I have them almost the entire week by myself and am held responsible for not only residential responsibilities but all other expenses that come with raising children - especially of such a young age not to mention so close in age. I can't afford a lawyer which he is well aware of. I feel extremely frustrated and unfairly treated. This whole situation just doesn't seem fare by any means. If someone could please provide any insight or advice I'd greatly appreciate it,

Fair and legal are not always the same. You may know he earns more, but you have to prove it. If he's hiding income that may be difficult.

There are two types of custody, legal and physical. He can get joint legal custody, but the plan calls for you to have primary physical custody since you have the children more than 5 days per week.
